Tejano Nation caught up with legendary singer Sunny Ozuna after his performance at the 2018 Tejano Music National Convention in Las Vegas.

The living legend told Tejano Nation contributor Fanny Gurl about his start in the music industry, his upcoming projects and performances. The Tejano icon also gave advice to new artists that are beginning their career in the music industry.

Fanny Carreon better known as “Fanny Gurl” is currently an on-air personality at KPYT-LP 100.3 Yoeme Radio, “The Voice of the Pasqua Yaqui Tribe” in Tucson, Arizona. The El Paso, Texas Native is the KPYT Tejano Music Director and co-hosts The More Variety Morning Show with Hector Youtsey every Friday from 9-11 a.m. MT. Fanny also covers the Southwest region music and entertainment scene for TejanoNation.Net the premiere website for Tejano music, news and entertainment based out of San Antonio, Texas by conducting interviews on the different artist and bands. Fanny has Emcee in many different events including the Tejano Music Fan Fair in San Antonio, Texas. Fanny Gurl has also covered many events in Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas, and California. Fanny Gurl’s passion for Tejano music, radio, and Tv has established a large following within the Tejano music world, on the radio, and via the internet.
