Arizona well represented at 2018 Tejano Music National Convention in Las Vegas

The 15th annual Tejano Music National Convention is only one week away and many Arizona bands are set to perform in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bands scheduled to perform include Conjunto Bravo, Festival Band, Sabor Latino Legacy, Louie Marinez Y Grupo Mysterio, Louie Sanchez and Emily Flores at Vegas Tejano Week, August 23 – 26 at the Rio Hotel and Casino.

Tejano Nation contributor Fanny Gurl and Melissa Santa Cruz, morning personality from Tejano Nation radio affiliate Tejano 1600 in Tucson, Arizona, have your preview of bands representing the Grand Canyon State.

Fanny Carreon better known as “Fanny Gurl” is currently an on-air personality at KPYT-LP 100.3 Yoeme Radio, “The Voice of the Pasqua Yaqui Tribe” in Tucson, Arizona. The El Paso, Texas Native is the KPYT Tejano Music Director and co-hosts The More Variety Morning Show with Hector Youtsey every Friday from 9-11 a.m. MT. Fanny Gurl’s passion for Tejano music, radio, and Tv has established a large following within the Tejano music world, on the radio, and via the internet.
