Di Marie released the official music video for her new single, “Que También Te Hagan Lo Mismo,” on March 13.

The visual for the song, directed by Ryan Bazan, features a plot of breakup and betrayal as Di Marie plays the role of a teenage girl’s mom in her first ever music video.

“It was a great experience,” Di Marie told Tejano Nation. “Especially having my team, family, and friends there to help me make sure everything went smooth and okay. Ryan did an amazing job capturing the song and bringing it to life!”

“Que También Te Hagan Lo Mismo” was written by Latin Grammy winning singer and songwriter Juan Treviño and is part of the singer’s current album La Culpable.

“As the song describes, its about a breakup and betrayal,” said Di Marie. “I play the young mom to a teenage girl going through a breakup and then finding her now ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend cheating on him in the end. As they say, what comes around goes around.”

Di Marie was nominated as Best New Female Artist at the Tejano Music Awards in 2015 for her debut album Todo De Mi.
