Tejano music icon and multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy winner, Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz, returns with the long-awaited new studio album, Porque Todavia Te Quiero, on April 6. It’s the group’s first new album in nearly two years, the follow-up the hugely successful Que Canta El Mundo released in May 2016.
The album features 13 new songs including the title track hit single, “Porque Todavia Te Quiero,” written by award-winning songwriter Humberto “Beto” Ramon. The group is currently filming a music video for the single, which is scheduled to premiere in March.
Gonzalez continues building on his band’s legacy with another outstanding production featuring all of the classic Mazz hallmarks that fans have come to know and love.
Other standout tracks on the album include “El Mariachi Loco”, “En Cuantas Camas”, “Ya Basta”, and “Camisa Colorada”.
Porque Todavia Te Quiero will be one of the most anticipated album releases of 2018. Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz continue to set the bar for the entire genre.
