Vee Gonzalez signs with Mar Records

Tejano newcomer Vee Gonzalez has signed with Mar Records, the singer and songwriter announced via social media on Monday (Aug. 14).

“First of all , Me siento muy excited!! I’m happy to be officially part of MAR RECORDS,” Gonzalez posted on her Facebook page. “I know that Marina Michelle Morales and Gerardo Alvarez, are humble people and have my best interest at heart. I’m excited and ready for this journey. Let’s do this!!!”

South Texas native Gonzalez, who competed on Sabado Gigante in 2010, has been influenced by diverse music styles, including Tejano, Grupero, Banda, Hip-Hop and English ballads. She released her debut single, “Escuchame,” in March.

“We are very excited to have Vee Gonzalez as an addition to the family,” said Marina Morales, co-founder of Mar Records. “She is very talented with an amazing heart.”

This is the second artist recently signed by the new record label. Sarah Monique also inked a deal with Mar Records on Sunday.

“Mar Records is focusing on on our artist new projects with Sarah Monique and Vee Gonzalez,” Morales added. “We have other talent as well joining our family. I’m very excited over all! We are very fortunate to have an amazing team! We are truly blessed with these beautiful people!”
