Singer and songwriter José has released his debut single and music video, “Hasta Nunca,” a duet with VMB Music Group artist Stefani Montiel.

“I was extremely privileged and so very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Stefani Montiel on the first single,” José added. “Stefani is an absolute professional and brilliant talent. She delivered a convincing females point of view with her sentimental feel and angelic voice. I felt that our voices blended very smoothly together.”

The track was produced by Eddie Perez of Key Of E Music, co-written by Perez and Rene De La Cerda, Jr., and is the lead single from José’s debut album, Serie De Eventos Desafortunados, filled with tales of trials and tribulations throughout his life, including the death of his sister, depression, a broken marriage and more.

“Serie De Eventos Desafortunados is a carefully selected list of songs that helps represent a series of unfortunate events that took place in my life,” José said. “Although there is a representation of good time as well, the continuous upset of love loss never seemed to be far away.”

“This album is meant to encourage the listener to feel that they are not alone in their struggles, whether personal or professional,” José added. “The intention of Serie De Eventos Desafortunados is to be used for coping in whatever situation you currently find yourself but to also know that you must let those feelings out of your heart in order to live.”

The album, Serie De Eventos Desafortunados, is available now on Spotify and other digital music platforms.

The visual for “Hasta Nunca,” filmed and produced by The Element, features José and Stefani Montiel together in the studio recording the song and more.
