Solido’s Eligio Salinas Jr. rushed to hospital after suffering seizure

Solido accordionist Eligio Salinas Jr. was rushed to a hospital in Mission, Texas on Thursday after suffering a seizure.

The Grammy Award winning band asked fans for prayers in a post on the Grupo Solido official Facebook page on Thursday.

Solido frontman Ben De Leon gave more details about Salinas’ condition.

“This is what we know so far,” De Leon told Tejano Nation. “Eligio had a seizure this morning and was rushed to hospital, where he is awaiting further tests. He is currently in ICU at Mission Hospital.”
