Grupo Siggno will make their first ever appearance at the 2017 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for Go Tejano Day, organizers announced on Monday (Jan. 9).
Go Tejano Day, traditionally the rodeo’s largest single-day paid attendance, is scheduled for Sunday, March 19, 2017. The day will also feature Banda El Recodo from Mexico.
Siggno is one of 11 artists making their debut performance at RodeoHouston, including Grammy-winning retro-pop diva Meghan Trainor, X-Factor-spawned R&B vocal group Fifth Harmony, dance-pop hitmakers The Chainsmokers, and pop-punk comeback kids blink-182.
Texas country star Aaron Watson will kick-off the RodeoHouston performances on March 7 and he’s very excited to see Siggno as one of the performers this year. The singer was asked in an interview with the Houston Chronicle, who he was most excited to see?
“Tejano night, Siggno. Those guys are great guys. I’ve got to play some shows with Siggno down in South Texas,” he said. “They work hard like we do. I’m really excited about those guys. Good job Siggno, Aaron Watson loves you.”
