isabelmarie-dreamingofyou-300x300Latin singing sensation Isabel Marie Sanchez has released a cover version of  Selena’s “Dreaming Of You”.  The R&B single will be a bonus track from the 13-year-old singer’s sophomore album and was recorded in the same studio as Selena, when the late Tejano star recorded the original hit from 1995.

Abraham Quintanilla, Selena’s father, asked Isabel Marie to cover the song and the young singer’s version was approved by Selena’s family to be released for a single.

“This song has been covered by many artist, but to be asked personally by the family and recorded in the same studio, to me is a great honor,” Isabel Marie told Tejano Nation.

Isabel Marie released her successful debut album, New Girl In Town, in March 2016 and spawned many hit songs, including “Fallaste Corazon”, “Pero Como Voy a Olvidar” and “Un Beso”.

The young singer paid tribute to Selena recently at many events, including the MAC Selena launch event in Corpus Christi in September and the Selena Tribute show earlier this month in San Antonio, which is scheduled for more cities soon, including the Tejano Music National Convention in Las Vegas next summer.

Isabel Marie’s cover of “Dreaming Of You” is available for download at all digital retailers now, click here to download from Amazon Music.
