The City of Freeport Historical Foundation is proud to present a comedy concert on the banks of the beautiful Brazos River with George Lopez on Saturday, September 10.
The show at Freeport Municipal Park will also feature Tejano star Isabel Marie Sanchez. The 13-year-old singer will perform the National Anthem to begin the event. Music will include a performance by XFactor, a tribute by singer Juaquin Cura to Emilio Navaira, featuring the late Tejano star’s keyboard player Marc Martinez and his original accordionist Pete Ybarra. The show will be hosted by Bino G with 3G Entertainment DJ’s Roddy G. in the mix.
A huge fireworks display is also scheduled after George Lopez’s performance at this history making event in Brazoria County.
General admission tickets are $45.oo and $75.00 reserved seating and are available at GeorgeLopezFreeport.eventbrite.com. VIP tickets are available for $150 (includes VIP picture badge, reserved table and chair, server, and vip bar service) by calling the Freeport Historical Museum at 979-233-0066 or 979-665-1923.
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. at the Freeport Municipal Park, located at 420 Brazosport Boulevard in Freeport, Texas.
Proceeds of the event support the historical preservation, museum endeavors along with community and youth programs. Food and beverages will be sold. No outside food, alcohol, coolers or umbrellas allowed. You must be 18 years of age to enter. No refunds permitted.
