Anjelique debuts new music, talks working with Shelly Lares on Tejano Nation Radio [PODCAST]

2015 Tejano Music Awards Best New Female Artist nominee Anjelique talked about her upcoming music, working with Shelly Lares in the studio and debuted her new single, “No Pienses En Volver,” on Tejano Nation Radio with Romeo on Tuesday (June 7).

The singer from Sweetwater, Texas, is currently working on her third album with Tejano Hall of Famer Lares, including her latest two singles, “La Otra” and “No Pienses En Volver.”

“We went to go play at her Vegas showcase, maybe three years ago,” Anjelique told Tejano Nation Radio. “That’s when we started talking about it, she was like, ‘Hey, I like your guys’ sound and I really want to work with you’.”

Anjelique talked about her upcoming free show for 21 and up in San Angelo on Sunday, the beginnings of the Sweet City Band, balancing music and family and so much more. Check out the full interview below, including the Tejano Nation Radio debut of “No Pienses En Volver,” a duet with Esteven Cerda.
