Ray Ray de los Agues and Aisha Aparicio released a snippet of their duet “Ya Te Olvide” on Monday.
The song was written by Juan Villarreal and recorded at Avalos Recording Group (ARG) produced by E-Rock Avalos.
“I enjoyed working on this new duet with who I call ‘my musical sister,’ Aisha Aparicio,” Ray Ray told Tejano Nation. “I am very proud to have been a part of it and recording at Avalos Recording Group with E-Rock Avalos. It literally took us a couple of hours to record.”
This is the duo’s second track together, after releasing “Sueños” in December.
“We had been planning to record another duet, but never did I think this soon after our previous duet ‘Suenos,’ which is doing well on many radio stations across Texas,” said Ray Ray. “Aisha was originally going to sing a song by herself, but asked if I would partake in another duet with her which I was very excited about because we sing so well together. I didn’t hesitate to say ‘Yes!’. I am also very proud of Aisha as she really shines bright on this song.”
Aparicio, who has been a backup vocalist for Stephanie Lynn, Audi Castillon and most recently Savannah Votion. was excited about working with Ray Ray once again.
“Ray Ray was amazing, it was not planned,” Aparicio told Tejano Nation. “We’ve been asked in several interviews, TV & Radio, if we had plans on more music together. When this opportunity came to light, I felt it would be great to work with my musical brother Ray Ray again and was in fact inevitable, and having already worked with E-Rock Avalos, I know in my heart this song will be exactly what the Tejano fans will embrace. I can’t wait for the release.”
“Yo Te Olvide” will be released in full next week.
