Isabel Marie is ‘New Girl In Town’ with debut album release

Isabel Marieisabelmarie-newgirl announced the release date for her debut album, New Girl In Town.

“Working with an incredible team at Q Zone records under the direction of Abraham Quintanilla and Suzette Quintanilla,” the 13-year-old singer posted on her official Facebook page on Monday (March 7). “With a humbled heart, I share with you an album that was made with love , passion and commitment from start to finish. With God guiding our every move and letting this dream come true.”

Isabel Marie recorded this album in the same studio where Selena recorded her songs and will inlcude Tejano, cumbia and mariachi tracks.

“She’s got the talent. She’s got the charisma, the personality and youth. That’s a good combination,” Abraham Quintanilla told KENS 5 News. “Her voice is very similar to Selena.”

The Chicago native, who now makes San Antonio her home,  has been making waves since she first appeared on the scene on La Voz Kids, where she was mentored by Natalia Jimenez, former lead singer of the Spanish pop band La 5ª Estación.

The album is expected to hit stores next week, but fans can pre-order the album now and get a personalized copy by sending an inbox message to the singer’s official Facebook page at Facebook.com/IsabelMarie03.
