Los A-T Boyz to return to performing in memory of Paquito Rodriguez

Los A-T Boyz (Alma Tejana) announced that the band will return to performing on stage, less than two months after band member Paquito Rodriguez lost his battle with cancer.

Los A-T Boyz lead vocalist Raphael Rodriguez made the announcement during an interview with the Mas Tejano Show on February 11.

“Raphael said that the band will continue forward in the legacy of Paquito,” Mas Tejano Show host DJ Suavesito told Tejano Nation.

Paquito, the band’s accordionist, passed away on January 21 at the age of 42.

“My dearest brother it has been hard bro we miss you dearly and your spirit lives strong in us we know in our hearts you would want us to perform @ Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair 2016 our Show will be dedicated to you and in honor of you brother,” the band posted on their official Facebook page on Wednesday.

The Austin-based Tejano band will make their return to the stage at the 2016 Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair in San Antonio on Friday, March 18 at 8:15 p.m. on the Gateway stage, TMA Fan Fair’s newly named fifth stage.
