Promoters have postponed two upcoming dates of the Una Historia Juntos Tour, the joint tour featuring Siggno and Elida Y Avante, for this upcoming weekend in Abilene and Lubbock. The postponements come one week after Siggno member Jacob Turner was critically injured in an auto accident on February 8.
The tour date scheduled for Friday, February 19 in Abilene at La Nueva Luna has been rescheduled for March 12.
“Unfortunately, due to Jacob Turner’s car accident, Grupo Siggno and Elida y Avante tour has been cancelled for this Friday, February 19th at La Nueva Luna,” the venue posted on it’s official Facebook page on Monday. “It has been rescheduled for Friday, March 11th. You can use your current tickets, and table reservations for the new date. If you cannot make it, you can get a refund for your ticket.”
Ticket holders can contact La Nueva Luna via Facebook or call 325-701-7985 for more info on refunds.
No word on a make up date for Lubbock as of yet.
Turner, the 21-year-old son of Siggno lead vocalist and accordionist Jesse Turner, was critically injured after crashing his vehicle into a guardrail at a high rate of speed in the early hours of February 8 in Harlingen, Texas, according to witnesses. The collision caused the vehicle to catch fire. Turner was the only occupant in the vehicle.
