Crystal Torres debuts Shelly Lares produced ‘Mi Niña Bonita’ [AUDIO]

2014 Tejano Music Awards Best New Female Artist Crystal Torres released the Shelly Lares produced single “Mi Niña Bonita” on Sunday.

“I’m super proud of the song since I co-wrote it with my good friend Jose Rosario Gonzalez, who was a Sony Latin Music executive back in the Tejano heydays,” Torres told TejanoNation. “It was produced by one of my Tejano idols, Shelly Lares, and it was a dream come true to work with her!”

The song was written about Torres’ baby daughter and features background vocals from Lares.

“I hope this song inspires all the mommies out there, both single and married,” Torres said. “I was a single mom for a few years and I hope all the mommies out there know I identify with them all. It isn’t easy being a mommy but it is the most rewarding experience once can have! It is truly blessing to be a mommy and I hope everyone enjoys the song!”
