A week after dropping his new EP, Mi Ultima Disculpa, Jimencio has released the club cumbia “Me Facinas” for radio airplay.
“‘Me Facinas’ is a new club cumbia infused with Tejano, Reggaeton and R&B,” the singer said about the Gabriel Zavala-produced single.
“The idea for this song derived from wanting something new, fresh and hot. Something that grabs the attention for my generation,” he added.
The Mi Ultima Disculpa EP, released on July 6, features a mix of club cumbias & Latin pop hits and is available now at Jimencio.com.
“We are now currently in the works for a full studio album,” he said.
The singer-songwriter also parted ways with Hacienda Records recently, just months after signing with the legendary record label.
“I respect all of the staff of Hacienda,” the singer told TejanoNation. “I just made the mistake in signing with them as a Cumbia/Latin Pop/Bachata Artist. I wish them all the best in all they do & I hope God continues to bless their establishment, and I hope they wish the same for me and my music. ”
