La Gringa Novelera: El Senor De Los Cielos 3 Recap [June 23, 2015]

Buenos noches!

Well I have so much to tell you about what is happening in the CardiacSurgerySuperHappyFunNarcoNovela ‪#‎ElSenorDeLosCielos3‬, but most of it will have to wait until tomorrow because yo soy muy cansado, or descansado, whichever word means “tired,” if either of them even do.

Yes, I could look it up on Google but I try to stay pure, and learn all of my Spanish from telenovelas, and I can never get “Tired” correct!

So, there are a lot of double and triple crosses going on right now in ‪#‎ESDLC3‬, and if my Spanish was better I could explain them.

Basically, it seems to me that all of the Narcos on the show think that all of the other Narcos have betrayed them, and that’s because all of the Narcos are in fact betraying the other Narcos.
There are a lot of weapons being pointed at heads, and knives being pushed against throats, but right now no one is going any further.

I hope everyone is saving all of their killing efforts for Marcado and Ignacio, and Tim, who always loses phone face-offs to El Señor.

So here is what I can tell you about:

My favorite scene in tonight’s action-packed as usual episode:

So El Señor is kind of recuperating from his heart attack in a spare bedroom in Don El Feyo’s rancho in Michoacan, where he has been joined now by his whole family, including the maids, pets, babies, and the guys who hang out in the kitchen wearing big hats, big guns, and bigger belt-buckles.

Basically his recuperation before open-heart surgery involves sleeping a lot, drinking whatever liquid La Condesa strolls in with on a tray, and trying to get her into his bed with her husband (and his godfather) just one floor down running the Narco convention.

When his mother Dona Alba arrives, El Señor thinks his problem is solved.

His problem is not that he has had a heart attack and is about to have open-heart surgery without any medical treatment whatsoever.

Nope, that’s not the problem.

His problem is that he can’t get any traction with La Condesa, his pretend nurse and scary godfather’s wife.
So El Señor is kind of trying to get his mother to make a play for Don El Feyo by reminding her of the good old days when they used to date!

El Señor figures that if he can get his mom to go for El Fon Feyo, that will clear the way for him to hook up with La Condesa.

Pretty good for a guy who just had a heart attack and only gets an occasional glass of water and no EKG’s.
Modern medicine has a lot to learn from telenovelas!
