“History just happened in Corpus, but it’s going to happen again,” A.B. told a packed crowd at the Fiesta event. “On April the 30th, from the Billboard Awards live from Miami, I’ll be playing bass with J.Lo on stage, so will Suzette, and so will Chris Perez, all three of us.”
“Y’all look out for that, it’s going to be amazing,” he added.
A.B. also had praise for Lopez, who had her breakout role portraying the slain Tejano star in the 1997 biopic Selena.
“J. Lo really does appreciate everything Selena has done for her, we know that for a fact,” A.B. said. “When you hear people say she doesn’t, she remembers, man, she knows where she came from.”
Telemundo will broadcast the Billboard Latin Music Awards live on April 30.
