The West Texas-based group continues to build its catalog of original music with the deeply personal release, which showcases not only the band’s musical talents but also the close-knit family bond that has become a defining part of its identity.

At the heart of “Adónde” is a unique father-daughter collaboration. The song’s lyrics were written by Amber Martinez, daughter of Grupo Entrego lead singer, songwriter, and composer Chris Martinez. Amber, who also performs as the band’s backup vocalist, takes on the female lead role in the music video, bringing the heartfelt lyrics she penned to life on screen.

Chris Martinez composed the melody, while drummer, producer, and co-owner Erick Martinez handled production, resulting in a moving track that reflects the band’s dedication to creating meaningful, original Tejano music.

The music video also features Taiden Blake, an emerging country singer-songwriter from Abilene, Texas, who portrays the male lead. Joining the production is Eli, an aspiring accordion player from Fort Stockton, Texas, whose dream is to one day perform on a major stage. Adding another authentic Tejano touch, Ryan Walleck, Chris Martinez’s nephew, contributes a spirited grito that enhances the song’s traditional feel.

Filmed at the Pumpjack Saloon in Colorado City, Texas, the video captures the rugged charm of West Texas while complementing the emotional narrative of the song. The project was directed and filmed by Ryan Bazan of RB Films, who traveled from San Antonio to bring Grupo Entrego’s vision to the screen.
