The full performance lineup has been unveiled for the highly anticipated Forever Jimmy G Music Festival, set for March 14 at Milam Park in downtown San Antonio, next to the historic Market Square.
Spearheaded by Mike Gonzalez—son of late Tejano legend Jimmy Gonzalez and bandleader of Mike Gonzalez & The Iconiczz—the tribute event marks a major milestone as it prepares to expand into a touring festival that will travel across Texas and potentially beyond.
Among the first confirmed artists are Tejao legends David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales, Tejano icon Jay Perez, Conjunto favorites The Delta Boyz, David Farias Y La Tropa F, La Dezz, Sin Código, Horizonte Norteño, and host band Mike Gonzalez & The Iconiczz, with podcast host Bumper Gomez as master of ceremonies.
Gonzalez emphasized that each act will deliver full-length performances worthy of the festival’s namesake.
“These bands that I just mentioned to you are going to play at least an hour,” he explained. “They’re not going to do 30 minutes. They’re going to play an hour because again, it’s the Jimmy G Music Festival. And if it was up to Jimmy G, you do it big.”The Forever Jimmy G Music Festival is an all-day, all-ages celebration, with gates opening at 11 a.m. and the first band taking the stage at noon. In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy food vendors, a kids play area, and the highly anticipated Jimmy G Museum. The special exhibit will feature rare memorabilia, including guitars, Grammy Awards, stage clothing, and photographs highlighting the legendary career of Jimmy Gonzalez.

Fans can also look forward to new music from Mike Gonzalez & The Iconiczz. Following the band’s signing last year with legendary Tejano label Freddie Records, their debut album, The Legacy Continues, is expected to be released this spring.
Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Jimmy Gonzalez rose from humble beginnings to become one of Tejano music’s most celebrated artists. As co-founder and lead guitarist of Mazz, he helped revolutionize the genre with a fresh sound that blended traditional Tejano with modern influences. Over the course of his storied career, he earned seven Grammy Awards and countless Tejano Music Awards, leaving an indelible mark on the music world.
Known for his exceptional musicianship, dedication to his craft, and ability to inspire generations, Jimmy’s story remains a testament to what can be achieved with talent, heart, and relentless passion.
