Corpus Christi, TX — Latin Christian artist and former Los Palominos co-founder Johnny Arreola is making a highly anticipated return to the spotlight with his uplifting new single, “Enséñame.” The inspiring track is currently airing on radio stations, media outlets, and podcasts across the United States and Mexico, with its official digital release set for Friday, February 27, on all major streaming platforms.
An accompanying music video will premiere exclusively the same day on YouTube via FreddieRecordsTV.
“Enséñame” serves as the lead single from Arreola’s forthcoming studio album, slated for release in summer 2026. The heartfelt song delivers a powerful message of renewal and faith, blending timeless Latin influences with a deeply spiritual core.
The single was co-written by Arreola and Florida-based pastor and songwriter Mario David Jainz, bringing together personal testimony and musical craftsmanship rooted in faith.
“My co-writer, Mario David Jainz, is a pastor from Nicaragua who happened to be visiting a mutual friend in my hometown of Uvalde, Texas,” says Arreola. “We began a discussion about music and how we both came to the Lord. He started writing a song with a 50’s/60’s sort of vibe, and from there, I came up with a melody and lyrics. The result was ‘Enséñame,’ a song about a person who hits rock bottom, encounters Jesus, and asks Him to show the way. It’s a beautiful message of faith that says it’s never too late to come to Jesus for His help and strength.”
Behind the scenes, “Enséñame” was produced by Arreola, with executive production by Freddie Martinez, Sr. and The Martinez Brothers — Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez — under the banner of Freddie Records. The track was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi by Mariano Herrera.
Showcasing his versatility and musicianship, Arreola performed all vocal parts and played accordion, bajo sexto, and bass on the track — a testament to the deep musical roots he established during his celebrated career in Tejano music.
A native of Uvalde, Texas, Arreola is best known as a co-founder and original member of Los Palominos, one of the most recognized names in Tejano music history. As part of the Grammy-winning and three-time Latin Grammy-winning group, he helped shape the sound of modern Tejano music.
Now, Arreola embarks on a new chapter — one centered on sharing his faith through inspirational music grounded in Christian values. With “Enséñame,” he not only reconnects with longtime fans but also reaches new audiences seeking a message of hope, redemption, and spiritual strength.
As anticipation builds for his full-length album in 2026, Johnny Arreola’s return signals more than just new music — it marks a renewed mission rooted in faith and purpose.
