Two of Tejano/Norteño music’s most celebrated and influential groups are joining forces for a collaboration fans have long awaited. Latin Grammy-winning powerhouse Siggno and two-time Latin Grammy-winning legends Solido have officially teamed up for a landmark medley, “Traté De Olvidarte, Hasta La Cima Del Cielo.”
Released by Freddie Records, the highly anticipated single impacted radio stations, media outlets, and podcasts across the United States and Mexico on Thursday, February 19. The track will be available on all digital streaming platforms beginning Friday, February 27.
The electrifying collaboration seamlessly merges two of the genre’s most beloved signature hits. “Traté De Olvidarte,” originally recorded by Siggno for their 2007 album Capítulo 5, was written by group leader Jesse Turner and the late Carlos Corona. The medley also features “Hasta La Cima Del Cielo,” the breakthrough title track from Solido’s 2000 debut album, penned by acclaimed songwriter Jose Roberto Martinez.
The release marks the fourth single from Siggno’s highly anticipated upcoming album, SU LEGADO 1938, further solidifying the band’s enduring legacy and continued evolution within the Tejano and Norteño landscape.
Produced by Jesse Turner alongside Freddie Martinez, Jr., Co-President of Operations and Artist Relations for Freddie Records, the track was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, Texas, with additional recording sessions held at Solid Sound Studio in Rio Grande City, Texas. Engineering, mixing, and mastering were handled by Mariano Herrera, ensuring a polished yet emotionally charged final product.
An official music video for the medley is set to premiere in early March exclusively on YouTube via FreddieRecordsTV, giving fans a visual celebration of this historic union.
In support of the release, Siggno and Solido will launch a joint headlining tour beginning Saturday, February 28, in Laredo, Texas. The tour will continue throughout the United States and Mexico through the summer of 2026, bringing this once-in-a-generation collaboration directly to fans on both sides of the border.
This historic partnership unites two of the most influential forces in modern Tejano/Norteño music — a powerful celebration of legacy, brotherhood, and musical excellence that underscores the lasting impact both groups have had on the genre.
