As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the music creation process, a new platform has emerged to answer one of the most common questions artists face once the song is finished: What do I do next?
NEXT, a newly launched music distribution platform, is designed specifically for artists and creators who use AI in songwriting or music production and need professional support with release execution. The platform works exclusively with completed songs and finished projects, guiding them through the essential final steps required to properly enter the music ecosystem.
Unlike traditional music companies, NEXT does not offer creative services, artist management, or promotion. Instead, it focuses entirely on the backend process—handling registration, distribution, delivery, and release setup—so AI-assisted music can be released correctly and compliantly.
NEXT was founded by Christine Peña, a multi-award-winning entertainment and business executive and the owner of Red Cardinal Entertainment. Pena says the idea for the platform came directly from repeated conversations with artists navigating this new creative landscape.

“Over and over, I was being asked the same question — What do I do next?” Peña shared. “Artists were finishing songs using AI, but once the music was done, they didn’t know how to properly move it into release. NEXT exists to answer that question clearly and professionally.”
Positioned as a new lane between entertainment, strategy, and talent, NEXT aims to provide clarity and structure for creators who incorporate AI into their workflow. The platform emphasizes that its role begins only after the creative process is complete.
“We work with completed songs and finished projects,” the company states. “We handle the next steps—registration, distribution, delivery, and release setup—so the music can properly enter the system.”
In a rapidly evolving industry, NEXT sets itself apart with a straightforward mission: no management, no promotion, and no creative direction—just release execution.
NEXT is now live and accepting submissions for completed, AI-assisted music projects. More information is available at nextbyredcardinal.com.
