“I wrote this song, first song I’ve ever written, and we were just excited about it because every year we do record a new Christmas song,” Solis shared. “So we wanted to make a fun cumbia, and so it’s about Santa being at our party… if you know Latino families, like we always pick on each other, have a good time, and we always have some tamales.”

The song humorously paints a familiar holiday scene: Santa dancing at the family party, enjoying himself just a little too much—especially when it comes to tamales. “Santa’s there dancing, having a good time with all of us, and he eats all the tamales, to the point to where his vest doesn’t close anymore,” Solis laughed.

The animated video leans heavily into nostalgia, drawing inspiration from classic 1960s holiday cartoons. “The music video is a throwback to the 60s animation style,” she explained. “If you’ve ever seen Frosty the Snowman or Rudolph, that’s the style that we’re going for.” In a heartfelt nod to her holiday legacy, La Muñeca Navideña comes to life once again, dancing alongside animated characters in a whimsical tribute to Solis’ past Christmas visuals.
