Freddie Records has officially launched the radio release of “Acaso No Te Das Cuenta,” the highly anticipated new collaboration between Tejano icon Gary Hobbs and two-time Latin Grammy-winning songwriter and artist Juan Treviño. The single began impacting radio across the United States and Mexico last week, quickly making its way to stations, media outlets, and podcasts throughout both countries.
“Acaso No Te Das Cuenta” is the second single from Hobbs’ latest album, SOY LIBRE, following the chart-topping success of the project’s title track, “Soy Libre.” Written by Treviño, the romantic cumbia unites two of Tejano’s most respected talents for a dynamic, emotional performance that blends Hobbs’ classic Tejano sound with fresh, contemporary production built for today’s airwaves.

The track was recorded at the renowned Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi and Executive Produced by The Martinez Brothers — Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez. Production was led by acclaimed keyboardist Hector Gutierrez, Sr., with engineering credits going to Mariano Herrera (recording, mixing, mastering) and Eli Molina as second engineer.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Gary Hobbs continues to stand as one of Tejano music’s most enduring and influential superstars, known for his unmistakable voice, electrifying stage presence, and a long list of chart-topping hits. “Acaso No Te Das Cuenta” finds Hobbs in top form, elevated by Treviño’s signature songwriting and expressive vocal delivery.
The single is now available on all digital streaming platforms. Fans won’t have to wait long for more—Freddie Records confirms that a brand-new music video, filmed recently in San Antonio, will premiere exclusively on YouTube/FreddieRecords TV later this month.
