The “Biggest Night in Tejano Music” is back — and making history. For the first time in many years, the Tejano Music Awards are hitting a new city as the milestone 45th annual ceremony takes place Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas. The move marks a rare departure from the show’s longtime home in San Antonio, widely regarded as the “Tejano Music Capital of the World.”
This year’s ceremony will celebrate the genre’s most extraordinary artists and achievements from the past year, led by top nominees Stefani Montiel, Monica Saldivar, and Lucky Joe. Each earned multiple nods across major categories including Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Additional standout contenders include Pio Treviño, David Lee Rodriguez, and Los Hermanos Peña. See the full list of nominees here.

A Night of Unforgettable Performances
The 45th TMAs are shaping up to be one of the most electrifying celebrations yet, bringing together powerhouse performers and fan-favorite acts. Taking the stage are Grupo Solido, Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia with special guest Chingo Bling, Ram Herrera, Monica Saldivar, Lucky Joe, Da Krazy Pimpz, David Olivarez, The Homeboyz, Avizo, Johnny Hernandez, El Plan, and Art Tigerina.
A major highlight of the evening will be a special tribute to the late conjunto and Tejano legend Flaco Jimenez, performed by Grammy winners Max Baca Y Los Texmaniacs. The red carpet will also feature a performance by Best New Female Artist nominee Veronica La Consentida, adding even more excitement before the show begins.
Honoring Icons and Celebrating Legacy
Two Tejano titans — Ram Herrera and Johnny Hernandez — will be recognized with Lifetime Achievement Awards, honoring their decades of influence on Tejano music, culture, and history.
Adding to the celebration, beloved comedian Alex Reymundo returns as host, bringing his sharp humor and crowd-favorite personality to an already electric night.
Event Details
