Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia have officially launched Nuestro Viaje (Our Journey) — a captivating new docu-series that takes fans deep inside the heart of one of Tejano’s most iconic bands.

“Every story has a beginning, and this is ours,” the group announced. “In the first episode of Nuestro Viaje (Our Journey), join Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia as they open the doors to their world — from early mornings and rehearsals to the road, the laughter, and the moments that shape who they are as a band and as brothers.”

Premiering with Episode 1, fans are introduced to each band member and treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from their performance at the 46th annual Festival Chicano at Houston’s Miller Outdoor Theatre on October 4. The episode sets the tone for what promises to be a deeply personal, unfiltered look at the band’s journey — both onstage and off.

Produced by Ricardo Castillon and Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and producer Fabian Hernandez, the series offers a raw, authentic glimpse into life on the road — the humor, the late nights, the challenges, and the triumphs that have defined La Diferenzia’s enduring legacy.

The series follows closely on the heels of La Diferenzia’s highly anticipated comeback album, Renacimiento del Phoenix— a fiery 12-track project that captures the essence of their signature ’90s sound infused with fresh energy and emotion. The album’s title, translating to Rebirth of the Phoenix, perfectly symbolizes the band’s resurgence after years of growth and musical exploration.

“We went back to our roots for this album,” Castillon shared. “Over the last 15 years, I experimented with various sounds, but they never captured the true essence of La Diferenzia. Now, we’re back and stronger than ever. This is the sound that made La Diferenzia a household name in the ’90s.”
