The Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA), producers of the annual Tejano Music Awards, announced that comedian Alex Reymundo will host the 45th edition of the “Biggest Night in Tejano Music.” For the first time in many years, the prestigious event will move away from San Antonio, taking place at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas, on Friday, November 21, 2025.
The announcement comes as industry ballots have officially gone out, kicking off the first round of voting for the awards. The 45th Annual Tejano Music Awards promises a spectacular evening honoring Tejano legends while showcasing rising stars. Fans can expect unforgettable live performances, special tributes, and one-of-a-kind collaborations designed to celebrate the past, present, and future of Tejano music.
Since its inception, the Tejano Music Awards has stood as the longest-running and most prestigious event dedicated to the genre. Traditionally held in San Antonio, the “Tejano Music Capital of the World,” the ceremony has also traveled to other Texas cities, including Eagle Pass. The 2025 edition marks another milestone in its storied history.
The performance lineup for this year’s event will be revealed soon, with TTMA promising surprises that will make this milestone celebration especially memorable.
