Rising Tejano star Angel Jiménez is turning up the heat with the release of her sizzling new single, “Quiéreme.” The Latin-flavored cumbia highlights a sensual side of the talented singer, promising to ignite passion in listeners everywhere.
The track is a masterful blend of infectious Latin rhythms and romantic lyrics, crafted to perfection by the powerhouse team at Shellshock Records 3. Produced and written by Tejano legend and label CEO Shelly “Little Miss Dynamite” Lares, with lyrics penned by José Rosario, “Quiéreme” brings together irresistible grooves and heartfelt emotion for a song that will resonate with fans on and off the dance floor.
Jiménez, a proud native of Kingsville, Texas, has been making her mark on the music scene in recent years. She captivated audiences as a contestant on the TV talent show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, where she impressed both the judges and viewers with her mariachi skills. She also earned first place in the college/adult category at the Voz de La Paloma mariachi competition and concert, an event honoring the late ranchera singer Beatriz Llamas, who remains an inspiration to Jiménez and countless other female mariachi performers.
Music runs deep in Jiménez’s family. She began singing at the age of eight, following the path of her grandfather, Abel Jiménez, a mariachi singer himself. Today, she continues to pursue her passion while striving toward her dreams of becoming both a professional mariachi singer and the director of a mariachi education program to inspire future generations.
With “Quiéreme,” Angel Jiménez offers fans a fresh and fiery new sound, while staying rooted in the traditions that shaped her artistry. The single is available now on all digital music platforms.
