Rising Tejano and Latin pop star Amanda Solis has released the official music video for her latest single, “Mi Sombra,”a deeply emotional piece from her debut album Space Vaquera. More than just a track, “Mi Sombra” stands as a heartfelt tribute to Solis’ late nephew, Armando “LiL T” Tello, whose spirit and memory inspired every lyric, note, and frame of this release.

“I’m releasing one of the most personal songs and videos I’ve ever created,” Solis shared. “A tribute to my nephew, Armando ‘LiL T’ Tello. It was written, recorded, and filmed from the heart—all for him. This song is my way of keeping his light alive.”

The video was filmed in an unplanned yet profoundly symbolic location—Jean Dry Lake, just outside of Las Vegas. Its wide-open, serene landscape became the perfect setting to capture the essence of “Mi Sombra”: a space filled with memory, peace, and reflection. “It felt right, like a sign,” Solis said. “A peaceful space that captured a memory of love and light, just like him.”

Armando “LiL T” Tello was known for his big personality and love for the spotlight, and Amanda’s tribute is a powerful way to celebrate his legacy. The video concludes with a touching moment—a voice recording from one of LiL T’s Facebook Live sessions, giving the audience a chance to hear the energy and warmth he shared with the world.

Producer Danny “Smokebeatz” Blanco, who worked closely with Solis on the single, added, “This song was made with a lot of love and emotion.
