Airing live every other Thursday on Facebook and YouTube, the podcast has quickly gained traction with the support of regional internet stations West Texas Tejano Explosion and Tejano 806. Already booked through December 2025, Torres plans to begin scheduling for 2026 this coming November.

“This podcast is about more than just interviews,” says Torres. “It’s about capturing the heartbeat of West Texas Tejano—honoring our pioneers and giving today’s artists a place to shine.”

On August 27, 2025, Capturada will feature a very special episode highlighting legendary Tejano musician Armando Hinojosa, founding member and keyboardist of the iconic group Los Fabulosos Cuatro. The band, which originated in the 1960s as Carlos Guzman y su Conjunto before becoming Los Fabulosos Cuatro, is celebrated for their distinctive arrangements and trailblazing sound. Hinojosa, who continues to inspire Tejano musicians worldwide, will be joined by multiple guest artists appearing via prerecorded video to share how the group influenced their musical journeys.

The rich history of Los Fabulosos Cuatro includes a string of influential changes and collaborations, from their early success with “Vestida de Blanco” to their work with artists like Ernie Ruiz and the legendary Laura Canales. Despite lineup changes over the years, the spirit of the band endures—thanks in large part to Hinojosa’s continued dedication to the craft.
