AUSTIN, TX — Austin-based singer-songwriter Estani has released her highly anticipated album Tú De Mí Te Acordarás, a heartfelt project that bridges generations through music. The album is inspired by long-lost recordings from Estani’s grandmother, Rosita Lopez, who had a flourishing Conjunto singing career in San Antonio during the 1960s and ’70s.
Reimagined through Estani’s contemporary artistic lens, Tú De Mí Te Acordarás pays tribute to her family’s musical legacy while honoring the enduring sound of the Texas borderlands. The result is a deeply personal body of work that weaves together traditional Conjunto roots with modern production and sensibilities.
Fans can get a taste of the album through the lead single, “Mi Suerte Ha Cambiado,” a track that has already garnered critical acclaim — including a 2025 Hollywood Independent Music Awards nomination for Best Latin Traditional Record. The accompanying music video offers a visual homage to Estani’s cultural heritage.

To celebrate the release, Estani will perform an in-store set at Waterloo Records on Tuesday, July 15 at 5 p.m., located at 600 N Lamar Blvd in Austin. She’ll be joined by GRAMMY-winning Conjunto legends Los Texmaniacs, setting the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable performance.
The celebration continues on Saturday, July 26, when Estani hosts the official album release show at Regal Rooms (1204 Regal Row, Austin, TX 78748). The evening will feature a full performance with Los Texmaniacs, followed by a special Q&A session delving into the accompanying documentary film, also titled Tú De Mí Te Acordarás. The documentary explores the rich history of Conjunto music, with a special focus on the underrecognized role of female pioneers and the genre’s lasting cultural significance in South Texas.
