SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Elida Reyna, the two-time Latin Grammy-winning Tejano music powerhouse, has announced the date and venue for the final show of her Farewell Tour. Elida Y Avante will take the stage for the very last time on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the historic Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas.
The singer announced the news in a video shared across social media. The Majestic Theatre is a symbolic venue for Elida, as she explained to Tejano Nation, “I chose San Antonio because it is here that I stepped into the spotlight back in 1994 at the Tejano Music Awards for the very first time, and it is here, at the iconic Majestic Theatre, that I will take the stage one last time. This is proof that if you have tireless work ethic, the will to never give up and, most importantly, the ‘songs’ to carry a career, you can live out a childhood dream and perform on a stage you thought you could never reach. As I step away, I hope my songs continue to inspire and motivate future generations. As I close this chapter, we’d love to see our ‘EYA’ fans one last time Friday, December 12th for an unforgettable night.”
Elida Reyna is currently in the middle of her highly anticipated Farewell Tour, which has already announced stops in Midland, Las Vegas, and Monterrey, Mexico. The final Rio Grande Valley performance will take place November 8, making the December 12 concert in San Antonio the official farewell for the iconic Tejano singer.
Reyna first captured the heart of the Tejano music scene in 1994 when she performed in front of 50,000 fans at the Tejano Music Awards, belting out her now-iconic hit “Luna Llena” — a moment that cemented her status as one of the genre’s defining voices. Known for hits like “Duele” and “Te Sigo Amando,” Elida has earned over 40 Tejano Music Awards and two Latin Grammy wins throughout her three-decade career.
