HOUSTON, TX — The 4th Annual Guadalupe Conjunto Awards Show and Dance returns to Houston, Texas, for a two-day celebration of Conjunto music and culture on June 27–28, 2025. Created in honor of Guadalupe M. Belmarez — mother of longtime DJ and promoter Andrew Belmarez — the awards show recognizes the best in Conjunto music while preserving the rich legacy of a beloved genre.
Festivities kick off on Friday, June 27, with a Kick-Off Dance at L Social (2327 McCarty Street), featuring a high-energy live performance from crowd favorites Los Tellez. The dance sets the stage for a weekend filled with music, memories, and community.
The main event takes place the following evening, Saturday, June 28, also at L Social, and is sponsored by the Law Office of Michael De La Paz. The Guadalupe Conjunto Awards Show will honor top musicians, vocalists, media figures, and contributors across more than a dozen award categories.
Live performances will include powerhouse sets from:
- Los Badd Boyz Del Valle
- Los Monarcas de Pete and Mario Diaz
- Grupo Fijo
