Tejano Nation continues its mission of showcasing the best in Tejano music with its latest New Tejano Playlist on Spotify, featuring the freshest releases each month. For June 2025, the spotlight shines brightly on Beatriz Gonzalez, the powerhouse singer-songwriter from the Rio Grande Valley whose signature Norteño Tejano style is making waves in the genre. Her highly anticipated new single, “Qué Lástima,” anchors this month’s playlist.
In addition to Gonzalez’s latest hit, the New Tejano Playlist includes music from Tejano legends like La Fiebre, Bobby Pulido, Stefani Montiel, Jay Perez, Elida Reyna, David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales, and Carlos Moreno. Fans will also discover new sounds from rising stars and emerging artists such as Destiny Navaira, Angelica Y Moneda, Asalto, Magali Delarosa, Rigo Navaira, and Gabriella Martinez.
“Providing a platform to showcase Tejano music and culture is at the core of what we do,” said John Henry Medina, Director of Digital and Radio Content at Tejano Nation. “As the Heartbeat of Tejano, we consistently highlight the finest Tejano music, and this monthly playlist serves as a gateway for more music fans to explore the rich musical heritage of our vibrant culture. Additionally, it provides valuable exposure for emerging Tejano talent, allowing them to carry forward the legacy of Tejano music and culture.”
Alongside the New Tejano Playlist, Tejano Nation curates additional Spotify playlists, including Totally Tejanas, celebrating the fierce female voices of the genre, and Tejano Love Songs, featuring the most heartfelt romantic hits.
