PASADENA, TX — Tejano music pioneers La Fiebre are inviting fans from across the nation to their hometown of Pasadena, Texas, for a massive two-day celebration as the iconic band marks its 40th anniversary with Fiebre Fest, happening May 23–24, 2025, at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds.
Produced in collaboration with Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame promoter Jim Luna, Fiebre Fest promises to be a high-energy, music-filled weekend celebrating the legacy, culture, and future of Tejano music.
The celebration kicks off on Friday, May 23, with a free open jam session and pre-party at Winters Bar in Pasadena. Fans will get an up-close experience with a La Fiebre meet-and-greet, offering a chance to connect with the legendary group that has kept generations dancing since the 1980s.
On Saturday, May 24, the main event unfolds with a stellar 12-act lineup headlined by La Fiebre themselves, who will share the stage with some of Tejano’s brightest stars including Lucky Joe, Mike Gonzalez & The Iconiczz, Avizo featuring Chris Q, Ram Herrera, Emilio Guerrero, Roel Martinez, Madison Pulido, and Bianca Ruiz.
Adding a uniquely Tex-Mex flair to the evening, three powerhouse conjuntos — Los Conjunto Cats, Los Arcos Hermanos Peña, and Lazaro Perez — will perform simultaneously in a rare triple-stage showdown, leading into a semi-finale accordion shootout that promises to be an unforgettable musical faceoff.

La Fiebre founding members Luis Ayala, Joe Angel Reynosa, and Rudy Rocha recently appeared on Tejano Nation Radio to share details about the event. “Everybody’s traveling to go someplace to find something to do for Memorial Day,” said the band. “So why not come to Pasadena? We’re throwing a big, huge concert with 12 bands. It can’t get any better than that!”
The band’s passion for music and their fans remains the driving force behind their longevity. “It’s the love of the music, the love of the fans… Once we get on stage, we’re just having a good time,” the band added. “Fiebre is brothers and a family… and that’s why we’ve kept it going for 40 years.”
As part of the celebration, La Fiebre also announced a new album to commemorate their four-decade milestone. Reuniting with Freddie Records — their label of 28 years — the group will soon release their first single, “Ayúdame,” to Tejano radio, with availability on streaming platforms to follow.
Though proud of their signature sound, the band teased fresh experimentation on the upcoming album. “We’re always trying new things. There’s some music Fiebre may not be known for, but we’re going to give it a shot and see how the fans like it.”
Fiebre Fest is more than a concert — it’s a tribute to the legacy of the “Pride of Pasadena” and to the fans who’ve stood by them for four decades. As the band summed up, “If you’re looking for someplace to go and you want to have fun, then come see us. We’re ready.”
