HOUSTON, TEXAS — Latin supergroup La Mafia informed fans and media via a press release that their iconic vocalist, Óscar De La Rosa, suffered a severe episode of vertigo just minutes before the group’s scheduled performance in Cerralvo, Nuevo León, on Saturday night (April 26). The health scare required immediate emergency medical attention at a local hospital.
Thanks to the swift action and professionalism of attending doctors, De La Rosa recovered sufficiently to return to the stage and honor the commitment to their loyal fans, many of whom waited until 3 a.m. to witness the emotional performance.
Following the concert, De La Rosa was transported back to his hometown of Houston, Texas, where he is now receiving specialized medical care. The band expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support and assured fans that updates on Óscar’s condition will be shared in the coming days.
