Lucky Joe is ready to spread the love with his highly anticipated new single, “A.M.O.”—a cheerful cumbia that will have fans dancing and swooning this February. The song, which is the second single from his forthcoming album set for release in the spring of 2025, brings a fun, upbeat vibe to the airwaves just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Written by Lucky Joe, who co-produced with Freddie Martinez, Jr., “A.M.O.” is a reflection of the artist’s current joyous and loving personal life. Executive produced by Los Hermanos Martinez (Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez), the song embodies the positivity and happiness that Lucky Joe feels in his relationship. The lyrics celebrate love in its purest form, offering a message of hope and joy for anyone who believes in the power of love.
Lucky Joe shared his inspiration for the track during an interview with iHeartRadio: “This song, to tell you the truth, is very happy. It’s very upbeat. It’s peppy. It’s a happy love. It’s like, man, I love the way you walk. I love the way you talk. I love everything about you.” He continued, “I think it reflects a lot of how I am right now in my personal life. I’m so happy to be with my wife. I’m in a loving, caring relationship. I’m just in a real good place, man, and I’m so happy about that.”
Fans of Lucky Joe can expect more original music with his upcoming album, as he reveals that 95% of the album will be made up of original tracks, all penned by him. The album will also feature exciting collaborations with artists such as DJ Kane, his wife Devin Banda, Eliseo Robles (La Voz de Oro), Ramon Ayala’s former singer, and even Chingo Bling.
“A.M.O.” will be available on all digital platforms on February 7, 2025, and will be hitting radio stations this week. Additionally, Lucky Joe will be releasing a music video for the track, with its world premiere on YouTube/FreddieRecordsTV.
Lucky Joe’s passion for music remains strong, and despite the recent retirement annoucements of other Tejano stars like Bobby Pulido and Elida Reyna after illustrious 30-year careers, the 46-year-old singer says he’s not slowing down anytime soon. “I feel that I have a lot left in me. Even though I’m 46 years old, I think I have a lot left in me as far as the music industry is concerned. I don’t think I’m quite done yet,” he shared. “My writing has improved. My whole thought process in the studio has improved. My producing skills have improved.”
With “A.M.O.” setting the stage for an exciting year, fans can look forward to more from this talented Tejano star in 2025.
