Rowena, TX – Frustrated by the lack of support for new Tejano artists, internet radio station Qvo Radio FM has decided to take matters into its own hands. In an exciting new collaboration, Qvo Radio has teamed up with rising Tejano stars Joanna Rae, a Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) New Artist of the Year nominee, and the electrifying Jenny B to launch the highly anticipated Lonestar Ladies Tour.
The debut show of this groundbreaking tour will take place on Saturday, January 18, in Rowena, Texas, and aims to shine a spotlight on the female talent shaping the future of Tejano music. With a focus on empowering emerging artists, the tour promises to provide a much-needed platform for fresh voices in the Tejano genre. This initiative has already generated a significant buzz in the industry, with many hoping it will spark similar movements to support new talent in the future.
Lawrence “DJ NDO” Casarez, the visionary behind Qvo Radio and the driving force behind the tour, expressed his excitement about the project’s potential. “Regardless of the outcome, the fact that we’ve already brought so much attention and support to these incredible artists is a win,” Casarez shared. “This is just the beginning of something much bigger.”
In addition to the Rowena launch, Casarez confirmed that there are plans for additional shows throughout the year, further cementing Qvo Radio’s commitment to elevating emerging talent in the Tejano scene.
