
SAN ANTONIO, TX — Tejano music fans can now vote for their favorite artists in the fan categories of the 5th annual Premios Tejano Mundial, which honors the best in Tejano music.
The fan categories include Entertainer of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Group/Duo of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Social Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year (Homenaje). Fans can vote for one nominee per category at https://tejanomundial.com/vote. Public voting ends on Sunday, January 12, 2024, at 12 PM CT.
A panel of Tejano music experts selected the nominees for the fan categories based on the criteria of artistic excellence, musical impact, and cultural relevance. The winners will be determined by the combined votes of the fans and the Academy of Tejano Music members, who will vote in the industry categories.
The winners will be announced at the 5th annual Premios Tejano Mundial, which will take place at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The awards show will feature performances by some of the most popular Tejano artists, as well as special tributes and presentations. Tickets are available now at tejanotix.com.
