
San Antonio, Texas — The San Antonio Philharmonic is thrilled to present Selena Vive, an official tribute to the “Queen of Tejano Music”, Selena Quintanilla. This exclusive and family-approved event will take place on January 3, 4, and 5, 2025, at the Majestic Theatre. Under the direction of the Grammy-winning conductor Felipe Tristan, the Philharmonic Orchestra will celebrate Selena’s timeless music in an unforgettable experience. Joining the orchestra is the Grammy-nominated vocalist Isabel Marie Sánchez, a young Mexican-American singer renowned for her powerful performances and dedication to preserving Tejano music.
Honoring Selena’s Legacy

Often compared to Selena for her charismatic stage presence, she continues to captivate audiences and preserve the cultural legacy of the genre.
Felipe Tristan, a Grammy-winning conductor, is renowned for his artistic excellence and innovative interpretations. His accolades include Muzyczne Orły 2024 in Poland, and he has earned international acclaim for his ability to bridge classical and contemporary music. With this tribute to Selena, Tristan brings his passion for universal artistry to the San Antonio
Philharmonic stage.
