Legendary Tejano group La Mafia has announced the cancellation of their highly anticipated concert scheduled for October 19, 2024, at Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. In a press release shared with fans and media alike, La Mafia expressed regret that due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, they had to make this difficult decision independently from their wishes.
“This decision has been made independent of the group’s wishes due to circumstances beyond our control. We appreciate all your support and understanding during these times,” said the statement.
Despite this setback, La Mafia continues to make waves in the entertainment industry. Just yesterday, they launched their own brand of tequila—a venture that showcases their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to delivering quality experiences to their fans. This Grammy-winning ensemble is no stranger to success both on and off stage.
La Mafia’s journey began in Houston in 1980 when they started as a local act. Over time, they evolved into one of Tejano music’s most iconic groups. With hits like “Vida,” “Me Estoy Enamorando,” and “Ahora y Siempre,” they’ve captured hearts worldwide while earning numerous accolades including Grammy Awards—a testament to their enduring talent and impact on Latin music.
As we await further updates on rescheduled dates and future projects from La Mafia—including their exciting new tequila brand—fans can stay connected through social media where the group promises prompt updates and behind-the-scenes preparations.
