This year’s 31st annual Narciso Martinez Conjunto Festival featured some of the best Conjunto groups from across Texas on Oct. 4–5, taking over Memorial Park in Los Fresno, Texas.
This year’s headliners included Santiago Garza y La Naturaleza, Linda Escobar, Los Tellez, and Los Cucuys de Rodney Rodriguez, as well as performances from artists including Los D Boyz, Gilberto Perez Jr., Los Monarcas, Joel Guzman & Sarah Fox y Conjuntazzo, Los Chachos de Jesse Gomez, Fruty Villarreal y Los Mavericks, and more.
The Conjunto Festival, produced by the Narciso Martinez Cultural Artis Center, is the longest running music festival in the Rio Grande Valley. The festival is a 2-day event that works to preserve a genre of music that was created by Don Narciso Martinez and is over 100 years old. The event is rich in culture and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the Rio Grande Valley, Texas and the entire United States.
