Grupo La Tradición from La Joya ISD’s Palmview High School has once again proven their exceptional talent and dedication to the Tejano tradition. The group, known for their back-to-back state Conjunto championships and first-place win at Corafest, continues to make waves in the Tejano music scene.
As part of their first-place prize at Corafest, Grupo La Tradición had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Latin Grammy-winning singer Bobby Pulido. Pulido, a celebrated figure in the Tejano music world, helped produce the group’s latest song, “Regálame un Besito.” The music video for this song premiered on Tuesday, perfectly timed to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
The performance of “Regálame un Besito” is a testament to the rich heritage and excellence that Grupo La Tradición embodies. Their dedication to their craft and their ability to honor their cultural roots while pushing the boundaries Tejano music is truly inspiring.
La Joya ISD has long been renowned for nurturing some of the best musical talents in the state, and Grupo La Tradición stands as a shining example of this legacy. The group’s previous music video, “Cierra Esa Boquita,” went viral six months ago, further cementing their status as rising stars in the Tejano music community.
