Currently, El Gallo Dez is filming for the highly anticipated series “King of the South,” showcasing his versatility as a dynamic actor. With TJF Talent Agency by his side, he’s eager to explore new opportunities and take his acting career to the next level.

David Andres Hernandez, known professionally as El Gallo Dez, was born and raised in Whittier, California. Coming from a long generation of mariachi musicians, he began performing at the tender age of 5. Although mariachi has been the foundation of his musical interest, El Gallo Dez has shown his versatility through a variety of genres including jazz, R&B, pop, and rock. His debut single, “Rogando Por Tu Amor,” produced by Tejano icon Shelly Lares, marked his entry into the Tejano music scene. His self-titled debut album earned him the Best New Artist award at Premios Tejano Mundial earlier this year. With his dynamic talent and passion for music, El Gallo Dez continues to captivate audiences and make a significant impact in the industry.
