The “Majic Man” expressed his excitement about the new album, stating, “I’d like to make sure that you guys listen to ‘No Me Queda Claro,’ that’s my new single. And also coming up after that will be ‘Para Que Te Acuerdes De Mi,’ that’s the one with Freddie Fender.”
Treviño also mentioned the involvement of Fender on a ranchera version of “Para Que Te Acuerdes De Mi,” whose voice was used to create harmony with Treviño’s own, adding a special touch to the track along with the accordion skills of David Lee Garza.
“I said, well, why don’t I just, you know, let’s go ahead and see if we can do a harmony with me and Freddie together.’ So we did that, and it’s something that, even though he’s gone, you know, he passed and stuff, you know, he’s still remembered by a lot of people out there. But for him to be singing la ranchera, and then for me to have the honor to sing it with him,” said Treviño.
The 12-track album also features a heartfelt duet with Treviño’s daughter, Priscilla Yvonne Bowden, on the song “Mi Ranchito,” showcasing her incredible vocal talent.
“I also got my daughter Priscilla to finally record a song with me, and it’s an old song, ‘Mi Ranchito.’ I did Segunda to her all through the song, and she’s an amazing singer,” said Treviño’. “Even though that she’s my daughter, I think that she’s one of the best singers I’ve ever heard,”
