A viral video circulating on social media shows a heated discussion between the Memorial Weekend Bash event coordinator and award-winning singer Jennifer Peña, along with her team. This incident occurred shortly after Peña’s performance on Sunday night in Victoria, Texas.

According to KlubTejano.com, Clara Ramos, the president and founder of the non-profit organization MAJICA and the President of the Crossroads Fallen Heroes, has been working with Salazar Promotions on the Memorial Weekend Bash for 17 years. She is responsible for the financial aspects of the event. Ramos confirmed to KLUB Tejano that there were no hidden cameras during the discussion.

The video, originally shared by Ramos on social media but later deleted, was quickly picked up and shared by others. In the video, Ramos can be heard referring to Peña as “a greedy comeback kid” and accusing her of being sneaky. The dispute arose when Peña’s management allegedly asked for more money than the $5000 originally agreed upon in a verbal contract with promoter Frank Salazar.

Ramos claimed that Peña’s management requested additional funds after learning that A.B. Quintanilla Y Los Kumbia Allstarz would no longer be performing at the event. Tejano Nation reached out to Salazar Promotions for a comment on the situation but has not yet received a response.

If you ever have The Privilege of Meeting Her in person – JENNIFER PENA IS THE NICEST, SWEETEST PERSON That You Will Ever Want To Meet. For her to be able to bite her tongue and walk away (in this video) from this potentially verbal toxic situation further shows that JEN IS Not Just Class, But ALL CLASS!

interesting discussion, but if the agreement was 5k. So be it. It can not be modified unless both sides agree. And the last thing I heard was that Pena played for 25 minutes. If I heard correctly , then she was overpaid. Pena is not very good. She is not Selena.

Just like able quintanilla, she overstepped and now San Antonio will shun her.

    Bad Business.

      Don’t compare her to Selena.

She’s Jennifer . And she’s Amazing in her own right.. She has her own Fans. And she’s a Beautiful person and sings Awesome songs since she was a kid. People are going to envy her because she is Jennifer Pena and they are miserable unhappy people. That is their problem. Deal with it 🙏🏻

This is manipulation without conversation. The lady that is calling her greedy, isn’t working for free. Come on. Insurance, travel, and reserving time cost money. If you are a legitimate non profit for veterans, don’t use the “Veterans”, do right by them. Don’t associate with “Frank” to begin with if he shouldn’t be talking to the artist and it should be you. This name calling and accusations are smoke and mirrors from your organizations communication and verbal agreement with an artist. Stick to the facts and the real issue here or give up your salary.

The even organizer lady was so unprofessional for attacking Jennifer using the troops as a pawn to essentially blackmail Jennifer through shame, video recording and posting without her permission. Those negotiations should remain private and between management and event organizers not the artist.

Too many cooks in her kitchen. She needs to let some go because information is not being shared. The manager should’ve received an agreement of some sort.
