Ray Ray, a familiar name in the Tejano industry, has been steadily climbing the ladder of success since he embarked on his independent career in 2016. His unique style and original music have won him numerous prestigious awards, including a Tejano Music Award in 2021, and have endeared him to many fans.
After years of striving, Ray Ray has finally assembled a dedicated band, giving birth to Ray Ray y Calentura. The band is already booking performances, signaling a new chapter in Ray Ray’s musical journey.
The upcoming single “Te Amo” is a heartfelt song penned by Ray Ray and Jesse Villarreal, a prolific songwriter in the industry. Recorded at Slackmonster Studios and produced by Sevy Contreras, “Te Amo” is a testament to Ray Ray’s evolving musical style. Since joining the Slackmonster crew, Ray Ray has been recording Rancheras, a genre that complements his style and vocals perfectly. He is set to complete his fourth album this year.
“Te Amo” is a touching tribute to the love a man has for his wife and the fortune of having her in his life. The song draws inspiration from Ray Ray’s previous release “Prefiero Morir”, which charted across the United States and Mexico. Fans can look forward to the release of “Te Amo” on digital streaming platforms on May 27, 2024.
