Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz released their debut single with G Music record label, “Cuéntale a Todos”. This is the lead single from the award-winning band’s highly anticipated sophomore album.
“Cuéntale a Todos” was penned by legendary songwriter Beto Ramon and recorded at the renowned Redwood Studios in San Marcos, Texas. The studio is owned by award-winning Tejano artist AJ Castillo.
“It’s a good ranchera. I love it,” said Gonzalez. “Chris did an amazing job arranging it, working next to AJ Castillo, next to Anthony Perez, putting all our ideas together. The song came out amazing. The band did an amazing job.”
Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz won Group of the Year at the Tejano Music Awards in 2023. Led by drummer Mike Gonzalez, the son of late Tejano legend Jimmy Gonzalez. Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz, with a double Z at the end, is a tribute to his father’s band Mazz, and has been instrumental in keeping his father’s incomparable sound and musical legacy alive.
The release of “Cuéntale a Todos” is a significant milestone for Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz, as they continue to honor the legacy of Tejano music while carving out their own unique path in the industry.
